Dear Frankfurt  Members,

Are you concerned about
 the future? Have you
 thought about insurance in case you are too sick to perform your job
 as a Flight Attendant ?

In the German Insurance System there
 is the so called  "BU-Versicherung"
that would cover you
 in case you are too
 sick to work, however
 most if not all
of them on the market  insurance does NOT
 cover our specific job.

We are in discussion
 with Lufthansa
 (ALBATROS)
 and their insurance
 provider to see if we
 can offer the insurance they
 have to our members in Frankfurt at affordable rates and with coverage of the so called "Flugunfähigkeit-
sversicherung"

This kind of Insurance would pay you
 a monthly "pension" in case you are not
 able to perform your job any more.
Your premium would determine how much monthly pension you could receive.

I do not want to
 make any promises at this point as our US-Based Employment contract
 is an issue for the insurance provider.
We are working on this and hope to get
 an offer that is reasonable for us.

I am asking for your feedback in order to determine
 how many of you are interested in such insurance.
